It's hard to believe but we're already 1/2 way through this 2nd 6-weeks! Progress Reports will be handed out Monday November 1. They are to be signed and returned by Thursday Nov. 4. All missing work is to be turned in by Friday Nov. 5. We are getting ready to jump into preperations for our final exam show (Decemberb 14th @ 6:30pm). So try your best to be here, be on time and prepared to work so we can use every minute of classtime to get ready for a great performance!
Dance - we are finishing up techniques and giving choreography a try. Students will be guided through the process of making up their own parts of a dance, teaching it to the class and putting all the parts together for their performance. We will be choosing one type of technique to begin working on so stay tuned for updates!
Theatre- we are putting perfomances on hold and focusing on what happends behind the scenes in the theatre. Students will become familar with the technical aspects of productions and try out the roles in lighting, sound, costume, make-up and set design. We will also eventually be working with set/prop building tools - but only if you pass the safety test first!
Make sure if you miss class for whatever reason find a classmate to catch up. You can also check the bulliten board under the assignment logs. I'm looking forward to our preparations and will be posting updates for our performance.
